Notice to Children Under 13

myFEA.org is the registration platform for the Foundation for Equestrian Athletes. We are so happy you checked out our website site, and we look forward helping you any way we can. However, before we can get you started, if you are under 13 years old we need to take care of a few things.


1. Your Personal Information
Privacy laws control what information we can collect about people under 13 years old. These privacy laws require that, because you are under 13, we must receive your parent’s consent before you give us this kind of information:

  • First name
  • Last name
  • Contact information
  • Email address
  • Information about your location
  • Photos and/or videos of you
  • Any other information that allows people to contact you

2. Getting Help
Before you can get fully registered with myFEA, we need the help of your parent or legal guardian. Specifically, we need them to read the letter below and submit a form to us:

Your child has visited myFEA.org, the registration platform for the Foundation for Equestrian Athletes. Because of privacy laws that apply in the USA, Europe and several other countries, we require your consent before your child can provide us with personal information. Subject to your consent, and depending on how your child wants to get involved with us, we may collect the following information about your child to help him/her participate in our activities, campaigns, events and initiatives:

  • First name
  • Last name
  • Contact information
  • Email address
  • Information about his/her location
  • Photos and/or videos of him/her
  • Any other information that allows people to contact him/her


Your child’s information would only be used internally. This includes using information to:
deliver quality services and features that your child can use on our websites;

  • keep our services secure and safe;
  • protect myFEA, FEA or others’ rights or property;
  • conduct internal operations (data analysis, troubleshooting, testing and service improvements);
  • measure or understand the effectiveness of programming and content delivery;
  • offer opportunities that we think will be of interest to your child, like causes to support, events to attend, and opportunities;
  • facilitate and process purchases or donations;
  • make suggestions for your child and other users of the Sites; and
  • comply with any legal obligations.


To approve your child’s wishes to provide us with personal information, please submit our parental consent form by email to admin@myFEA.org or fax to 1-855-435-7761.

3. Get Started!
Once your parent has submitted the form to us, you can get fully involved with myFEA.org and the Foundation for Equestrian Athletes.

Until the form is submitted, please do not provide us with any of your personal information, and you may want to disable cookies in your browser and use the Google Analytics Opt-Out Browser Add-on to disable tracking by Google Analytics.
